Alan H. Schoenfeld (https://bse.berkeley.edu/alan-h-schoenfeld; alans@berkeley.edu) is a Distinguished Professor of Education and Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. He is the founder of Teaching for Robust Understanding Project.
TRU evolved from the Algebra Teaching Study, a collaborative project with Bob Floden at Michigan State University.
